OPCON designs and manufactures its own line Powder Containment Shells, or PuCS for short, which are designed for use with OPCON Explosive Blast Simulators to create a variety of special effects to enhance specific aspects of the training objectives. Each PuCS variety uses proprietary powder blends to create different visual effects ranging from Earth Impact to CBRN Attack.
Our line of smoke devices are commercially available in both E-match or Wire-pull initiated and come in a wide variety of colors. All smoke is non-toxic and fire resistant.

OPCON manufactures a unique line of visual effects shots designed for use with OPCON Blast Simulators. Every Powder Containment Shell, or "PuCS" for short, is biodegradable and environmentally safe. They are weather resistant, and come in a variety of colors to include: Natural Earth, Black, CBRN (yellow), Nightfire, and White Phosphorus.


OPCON Smoke Effects are designed to be fired with the SIM-SMK Wireless Smoke Simulation Initiator.

All devices produce dense clouds of various sizes (model dependent) and come in a wide variety of colors. Each device is 99.5% biodegradable.
